We host our Amsterdam location in the AMS-IX metro area, directly peering with the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX), the largest internet exchange in Europe by number of members. We believe this is the best location to host your European datacenter, as most EU consumer networks connect to the Internet through servers in Amsterdam and thus traffic to and from these audiences is routed through Amsterdam in the shortest possible path.
Thousands of networks are peering at the AMS-IX, so most traffic destined to EU (consumer) markets is served from within the datacenter where your application is hosted. Therefore, traffic through a third country is kept to a minimum.
London, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and the Nordic countries are all sub-15ms from Amsterdam.
By default, all Customer Data and Our Service logs are stored within the EEA (European Economic Area). We can store data in additional regions on request of the Customer.
