VPS Server

A VPS server you fully control.

A real Linux server on AMD EPYC, ECC memory and NVMe RAID10, with your own kernel, full root and the OS of your choice. Provision it, reinstall it, snapshot it, scale it: it answers to you. From 16,80/mo in Amsterdam or New York.

Under the hood

What the server is actually made of.

No vague "cloud" abstractions. Your VPS server is made up of documented servers which you can see clearly and know exactly what you are running.

AMD EPYC processors

They're the same server-grade EPYC cores used in our other offerings, just with the option of additional Dedicated-Core Tiers as needed to eliminate contention for specific workloads.

Milan & Genoa

ECC memory

Each node has Error-correcting RAM. Thus, bit-flips in the data never silently corrupts it.

DDR4 / DDR5 ECC

NVMe RAID10 storage

Mirroring and striping NVMe for high performance with redundancy. 122,959 IOPS 4K random read.

PCIe NVMe

Multi-homed network

Native dual-stack networking with IPv4 and IPv6 included on every server.

IPv4 + IPv6

KVM virtualisation

This is a True KVM Server with your own kernel and 100% guaranteed resource share, not a shared container.

Own kernel

Dedicated resources

You get a dedicated piece of computer power and memory, just for you, without anyone else using it and slowing you down.

Reserved share
Your control surface

Everything an operator expects, nothing locked away.

A server is only useful if you can drive it. You get the full set of controls to install, recover and manage it on your own terms.

Full root and console

Complete root access plus console access to your server, so you can get in even when the network is down.

Reinstall on demand

You can also Reinstall and have a brand new OS every time you like from the control panel.

Custom ISO and any distro

We support the installation of almost any Linux distribution. You can upload your own ISO file and we can even install a custom distribution for you.

Snapshots and backups

Add optional automated backups for up to 30 days (retention from weekly to daily) per plan.

Your own firewall and stack

You can run your own firewall rules, pick the ports and software you want to run, all without the platform getting in your way.

Scale when you grow

We also have larger servers including our Standard servers, Dedicated-core servers and our High-Memory servers.

Run any role

One server, whatever role you give it.

Because you have full root access and use of all resources on your VPS Server, you can assign it to almost any task that would normally require a dedicated server.

Proven on paper

A server whose numbers are public.

Server performance for each test is reported as the median of 5 runs. All code is provided to reproduce all in the spec sheet. Hence it can be verified instead of naively trusting it.

FAQ

VPS server questions, answered.

What is a VPS server?

A VPS server, or Virtual Private Server, is a Virtual Private Server - a virtual server on a server that can be leased to customers. In KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) VPSes, the virtual servers are created as virtual machines, each running its own kernel. Thus every virtual server gets a guaranteed share of the server's CPU and RAM, as well as root access, and a dedicated IP. So, in short, it is like renting a dedicated server, but at a fraction of the cost of a real dedicated server.

Do I get full root and console access?

All servers will be provisioned with full root and console access. This means you can work out problems with your network configuration and indeed access a server that is currently inaccessible.

Which operating systems can I run?

We support most of the Major Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky, CentOS Stream, Fedora, openSUSE and much more. Also you can upload your own ISO image for support.

Can I reinstall the server myself?

Yes, you can wipe and reinstall a server with a fresh OS from the control panel.

What hardware does it run on?

AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory and NVMe RAID10 storage, with published benchmarks showing 122,959 4K random-read IOPS as the median of five reproducible runs.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Start with a small server and work your way up to larger servers such as Standard, Dedicated-core or High-Memory servers as your workload dictates.
